FlickrDown is a really handy application for heavy Flickr users. Sometimes, when you are exploring Flickr, you find an album that has a lot of pictures that you want to get. If you want to download those pictures, you have to do it manually, one at a time. Well, FlickrDown helps you sort that problem out. The application will connect to Flickr and download the pictures for you. For example, you can start the application and tell it that you want to download all the pictures from user Software Informer, and it will do it. It will also download the images in the size that you want. I always choose to download the full size images, but you can download any sizes that you want. This is also a great tool to have in mind when you are carrying out back up procedures. You can simply upload all your photos to Flickr, and if you ever want to download them again, simply fire up the application, select your username and download all those pictures. The application works with both usernames and Flickr groups.
